David Saez Rodenas

Self‐Introduction Letter

This is David Saez Rodenas (1995/05/22), born and raised in La Vall de Uxó (Spain). As a student, I passed from “Rosario Perez Elementary/ Middle School” at the age of 12. After that, I got my certificate from “I.E.S Benigaslo High School” at the age of 18 and straightaway I approved, at the first convocation, the mandatory exam to get into the Catholic University Saint Vincent Martyr. I have always loved the health sciences and physical education area of education system. In fact since I received my first instruction, I have been always involved in that area, in which I enjoy the most and I feel completely comfortable and safe with my own about what to do. The more I become involved in the physical education realm, the more curios I feel and want to learn. At this time I am enrolled at the third level of university, so I have one more year l left to graduate from college.
As a person, I consider myself a joyful, hardworker and, openminded creature. I do love to share my passions and likes with others. I am a person who has to keep in touch and establish new relations with other people, overall with new people. From my point of view, I think that people have the need to get in contact with others. Communication is the most magnificent and imperative tool that human being has acquired. Since the first stages of life, people have survived due to the relations between each other. Therefore, what each one of us should do is to get out of his or her comfort zone, go ahead fearless and, explore the world as much as a person is able.

Motivation Letter

Nowadays to study abroad is one of the biggest fears and difficult decisions to take. When any individual has the opportunity to realize this experience, a bunch of thoughts and feelings come around your mind. Since this possibility turned on in a reality on my life, I have never doubted to put all my directions together to reach it. At that moment when it still was a simple consideration and since the first time, none negative believed went through what I really wanted to do: spend time studying in other country. I have always desired and have felt jealous when someone informed me about a student is studying in a country that is not his or her homeland, earning that personal, social, cultural and, educative knowing that every person has to have, regardless of the language. Hence, the main reasons by which I decided to study in Hungary are: to learn new methods of training, know how another Central European country works in the area of exercise, and to get use to the mentality of Hungarian people. At first sight, what I think I will get from this experience is a huge friendship that will remain with me forever, personal and emotional growth since during this period of my life I am by myself (first time ever), acquisition the required characteristics for facing every problem that comes out and, the most important thing, to gain the indispensable and useful ability to treat and
relate with everyone no matter the ethnicity, sex or background.

Motivation Letter

Hi, I'm Salvador Lozano, a student of 3rd-A CAFD of the Catholic University of Valencia and next to the Erasmus scholarship year will my fourth year at your headquarters in Budapest. First, I decided to go to Budapest because it has always been a city that I would have liked to travel, given the chance and thought it would be good choice not pass it and take it. Also, I have colleagues who have studied there and I really recommended the university, both the level and the treatment received during the instance. From my point of view, to study abroad is an opportunity that comes very close to what will be the output to work, where you know no one and try to make an effort both studies as avail yourself alone in situations to you're not used to. This helps prepare you to stand out and that companies see something different about you. I would also like to emphasize that one of my goals is to improve the English language therefore interact with people from other places makes this look better. Finally, I hope to take the opportunity they have given me and learn from this new experience to the fullest. Salvador Lozano Llin

Introduction

Dear Ms. Priosca,
my name is Niklas Woelker and I’m 22 years old. Currently I study and live in Potsdam, Germany with two of my friends in a shared apartment. I have always been travelling around the world to experience something new and that is also a reason why I want to attend the Erasmus program. I’m really looking forward to it and hope to meet great people and get to see Hungary not just as a tourist but as a part of the entire community.

Kind regards,
Niklas Woelker

Motivation

Dear Ms. Pirosca,
in the following I present my motivation why I would like to attend the Erasmus program and study one semester abroad. I am applying at the “University of Physical Education” in Budapest for the autumn semester 2016.
Presently I am studying Sports Management in the fourth semester of the Bachelor’s degree at the University of Potsdam. This field of study perfectly combines my passion for sports and the theoretical basis in Sport Sciences and Business Studies. I believe at this university everyone has the same interests and hobbies. That is why I would like to become a part of this university and community. The courses for Erasmus students are taught mostly in English and not studying in my mother tongue would be another challenge in my academic career. However I feel very motivated by this challenge because I have already spent a couple of years living in the United States of America and I can improve my English even more.
Beside the academic point of view, one semester abroad would give me an unique opportunity of getting to know Budapest and hopefully a bit of the rest of Hungary. Especially Budapest has always been an exciting city I have heard about but was unfortunately never able to visit.
By living in another country is a good way of understanding and learning another culture. It is very important to show respect and openness towards the new culture. Only by this it is possible to integrate yourself successfully, without thinking in stereotypes or having misconceptions of the foreign culture.
One semester abroad would be another chance of exploring new things and enhance myself in a positive way.
I would be thrilled to be selected on the Erasmus program.

Friendly regards,

Niklas Woelker

Introduction letter

First of all, I would like to thank you for giving me such opportunity to study in University of Physical Education from Budapest. I want to introduce my self. My name is Kövecsi Réka, I’m 22 years old and I come from Romania, Cluj-Napoca the heart of Transylvania. Last year I’m graduate the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. In 2015 october I’m started the Master degree in  Physical therapy of MSDs.

The reason of my change is to see how to read the sport sciences in other university. I’m a very friendly, opened mind and succes-oriented person. I like sports, travels, nature and animals. I like the challenges and i’m adaptable in a new situations. I hope this change will positively influence my studies and career. I hope I will meet a lot of interesting people and I will have greatest experience.

Motivation letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Kövecsi Réka, I am currently doing my master studies in Kinetotheraphy as a 1’st year student at Babeș—Bolyai University, Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. I would like to apply for the Erasmus scholarship, because I believe this program offers me, as an exchange students, a great experience in a foreign country. At first I heard about the scholarship’s possibility from my acquaintances. Later I was concerned that I would not like to miss such an opportunity.

My decision for applying for this program is based on the fact that I am fond of new challenges. As a good example to this, I have to say that within the past three years I learned to get involved into the life of the university. As a result I also learnt how to do my own best, mostly regarding doing serious tasks.

The Erasmus scholarship can offer me an opportunity to feel what it means to be a student in another city, not in your hometown. I was born in Cluj, and I lived here most of my life, so this chance will give me much more than I could imagine. By living abroad I would like to establish relationships that may last in the future, I am interested in knowing new places and the most important thing is to be taught in a different educational system.

The university made me realize that I can do more than I have ever imagined: I can face problems, I am now able to find solutions to unexpected situations, which can be justified by the fact that my classmates trusted me so much that I was appointed to be the delegate of the group who deals with its tasks and administration. For me this scholarship is not only a simple opportunity. It’s the first step towards making my dreams come true.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Yours sincerely,
Kövecsi Réka

INTRODUCTION

Hi! ;) I'm Augusto but everybody calls me Agu. I’m 21 years old and I come from Granada. I love doing a lot of sports, but I’m especially keen on football. I started to play it when I was six years old and since that moment until nowadays, I've never stopped playing it!
Last year I was living in Bochum (Germany) and I played in a football team there, so I have some experience in living fair away from your home and your family. I'm a very sociable and friendly person; I love meeting new people from other countries and knowing about their culture. I'm the kind of person who thinks that life is short and you can't waste your time, which is the most important thing you have!

MOTIVATION LETTER

Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like to start explaining why I have chosen Budapest to do my Erasmus programme.
The first reason is because everyone who has been there wants to come back to this lovely City and the other one is because I have a special feeling with this city and I'm convinced that the next year will be one of the best things of my life.
Living alone and being self-sufficient is something that I have always had in mind, and since I finished my experience in Germany two years ago I have wanted to repeat again something like that.
Furthermore, I think that doing the exchange programme is a fantastic way to grow up and I think it will help me to do so.
Concerning the study programme, I really think it will help me in my future as a professional in Physical Education. The courses I have been chosen will teach me new skills so as to become a teacher in a future.

Sincerely,
Augusto Garrido

Introduction

My name is Hania and I’m 21 years old. I was born and raised in Warsaw. I am a middle
child, having one older brother and one younger sister.
Since I was a little child, my biggest interest were animals and nature. I started to learn
horse riding when I was seven and it became my biggest passion, which I’m truth to ever
since.
Last year I was studying economics at the Warsaw School of Economics, but I didn’t like it,
so I decided to quit. Currently I study Tourism and Recreation at the Academy of Physical
Education and I like it way more. Simultaneously I work as a horse groom and horse riding
instructor.
I also love to travel and learn other cultures so I try to explore new places whenever I can.
My biggest adventure was when I travelled around Europe with a friend, using Interrail. I was
only once outside Europe though and my dream is to visit every continent!
During the academic year, when studying and working prevent me from leaving Warsaw, I
try to meet new people by hosting them at my place (I’ve created an account at
couchsurfing.com which makes it pretty easy and relatively safe :)
My other interests are books, movies, music and cooking. I attend a lot of music and film
festivals, trying to volunteer at some, when I have the time to do so.

Motivation letter

Erasmus program was always described to me as one of the best experiences that can be gained during studies. Since I love to travel, it was certain to me, that I have to participate in it at some point of my education.
I study Tourism and Recreation at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. I love all kinds of activities, but I never was much of a sportswomen I have tried many disciplines but never participated in competitions. However, I think that choosing the University of Physical Education in Budapest might be a really good idea reading about it gave me the overall impression of how much I can gain by studying there. I think that being a part of it’s international community, even for a while, may change a lot in my life and build irreplaceable memories.
While staying in Budapest I would not only like to study, but also meet the people of the city and learn about their culture. I was in Hungary once and I really loved it people there were very hospitable and generous. Getting to know them better and making lifetime friendships will be very exciting and I’m looking forward to it! Also the capital city, which I didn’t have the occasion to visit, is at the top of my list of the places to visit.
Living abroad is also a great way to build selfconfidence and practice languages so I really
hope, that staying in Budapest will help me improve both. Leaving a comfort zone is a difficult thing, yet I know I will not regret it.

Motivation

Dear Sir or Madam,

In the following I present my motivation why I would like to attend the Erasmus program and study one semester abroad. I am applying at the 'University of physical Education' in Budapest for the autumn semester 2016.

Presently I am studying Sports Management in the forth semester of the Bachelor's degree at the
University of Potsdam. This field of study perfectly combines my passion for sports and the theoretical basics in Sport Sciences and Business Studies. This passion brings me to the reason why I am interested in becoming an Erasmus-student at your University.

The university offers many Sport courses which I'm interested in. Furthermore I can study some of the Sport Science courses which I need in Germany. I believe tthat at your university everyone has similar interests and hobbies. That is why I would like to become a part of this university and community. Furthermore not studying in my mother tongue would be a completly new challenge in my academic career. However I feel very motivated by this challenge.

Beside the academic point of view, one semester abroad would give me an unique opportunity of getting to know Budapest and hopefully a bit of the rest of Hungary. I have never been in Hungary, but I am very curious and interested to get to know the culture and enhance my social skills in cross-cultural competence.

By living in another country is a good way of understanding and learning another culture. It is very important of showing respect and openness towards the new culture. Only by this it is possible to integrate yourself successfully, without thinking in stereotypes or having misconceptions of the foreign culture.

I am very interested in getting to know the different climate and typical Hungarian rituals and traditions. How does the traditional meals taste like? What kind of free time activities are favoured of the students from the University? These are questions I am interested in and I would love to descry the answers for myself.
I think the experience in living abroad is very important. Many of my fellow students travelled in Australia or South America for example, but I missed the chance to live in an foreign country by myself.. Therefore I am looking forward to this new experience. Also I know how important it is to speak fluent english and I can improve my language skills.

One semester abroad at the 'University of physical Education' in Budapest would be my chance of exploring new things and enhance myself in a positive way. Also I am looking forward to create my own Network of people which is essential for my future.

I would be thrilled to be selected on the Erasmus program.

Kind regards,

Marius Schäpermeier
